Programme Description

Gain a comprehensive knowledge of the core areas in psychology, as well as the practical skills associated to them with this fully online, part-time Psychology MSc from the University of Liverpool.

This online programme, accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), is designed to guide you in the construction of knowledge of the central features within the discipline of psychology, which will enable you to put principles into effect in a variety of settings including research, practice and the interface of applied research.

To achieve a full master’s degree, you will be required to complete 180 credits. This programme is also available as a postgraduate certificate (PG Cert) which amounts to 60 credits and a postgraduate diploma (PG Dip) which amounts to 120 credits. Students who complete the PG Cert and PG Dip will have the opportunity to progress to the full master’s degree.

Applicants should possess either:? • A minimum of a 2:1 class degree in any subject including psychology equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree; or? • A minimum of a 2:2 class degree in any subject including psychology equivalent to a UK bachelor’s degree AND have gained at least two years of relevant professional experience. Non-psychology applicants will normally require a GCSE Grade 4 (grade C) or GCE O Level pass in Mathematics and English, or an equivalent qualification.
