The overall aim of the MSc Investment and Finance programme is to produce postgraduates who are able to make a valid and meaningful contribution within the field of finance. You will develop an understanding of the interpretation, uses, and analysis of financial and investment information in a practical domestic and international context. Assessment

How learning is monitored on your programme

To cater for the wide-ranging content of our courses and the varied learning preferences of our students, we offer a range of assessment methods on each programme. Assessment techniques vary from module to module to reflect relevant assessment approaches and the key learning points of each topic.

On this course you will be assessed by a range of methods such as exams, essays/reports, case studies and presentations. You will receive regular feedback on your work. Some coursework may be done in groups to develop your team working skills.

You will also submit a dissertation which will be a major component of the programme.

You will need: a relevant minimum second class honours degree from a recognised University or equivalent institution or an equivalent professional qualification or an award accepted by the University as equivalent to the above or at least three years' relevant work experience at managerial or equivalent level.
