Postgraduate Reviews of Courses at University of East Anglia UEA

Everything is good but student support needs to be improved. Food prices must be reduced read full review
My best experience is the university library. It’s really an enriched library with a lot of resources and facilities. With a full security system, library is open for 24/7. It is a 5 stored building and each stored has several different facilities like meetings rooms, groups discussions rooms, separate rooms for students for exams or meetings, quite study zone, lots of books and other Educational materials for completing all of the tasks.

There is nothing bad about the university. But if the accommodation cost is reduced, it will be better. We expect more scholarships for students. read full review
My course is really great although too much of it is online. Student club is alright. Norwich is a really lovely city.
Main thing is that the campus is still half building site which isn't great. Although the lake, parks and general access to nature is amazing. read full review
It’s a great place to be at for studies. Student life is just amazing since people here are very kind and welcoming. Faculty is one of the best and I just love staying here feel warm and comfortable coming from an entirely different country. Everyone is so welcoming and nice, I am enjoying a lot. Food is one thing though that can be improved by adding more varieties in the menu! Thanks read full review
The lake behind the campus and sightseeing is fab!

I don’t like some toxic practice of staff and students. read full review
Regarding the student life and students' union, I have not participated a lot to be honest because I do not have time. But I gave them 5 stars in my rating because I bieleve they would be like other high quality and organised aspects I have found at the univrsity.

Among the best points I like at the university of East Anglia (UEA) is the real support and the true desire to help by all of its staff. For example, the teaching and the lab staff in my school are not only experts and teach and explain in great way, but also they are very supportive. Same thing with the library staff, student-information-zone staff, medical-centre staff and other departments. All of them welcoming, friendly and supportive.

For me as an international student and non-native English speaker, sometimes I face difficulties in communication, sometimes I unintentionally do something wrong because I do not know the rules, sometimes I need help about other issues. I find all staff supportive, patient, kindly explain things for me and more than happy to help.

Another point, I like the excellent learning environment the university provide. There is the library which is outstanding and I can access 24 hours a day/7 days a week. There are the online tools and the computer programmes that help to study effectively and also help with the area of my study. There are PC rooms in the schools. And also there is a team for learning enhancement.

Also I like the beautiful green spaces to relax in at the campus of the university.

To those who are interested in organic chemistry, I would like to mention that the Advanced Organic Chemistry MSc Course at UEA is expertly designed. The topics of the modules are modern and in demand, and also there are interesting and important topics for research.

In terms of what I wish to be improved, I think it is the the prices at the university supermarket. In fact, I find the prices of some stuff are a little bit higher than other places in the city.

Overall, I would like to say UEA is an excellent place to study. Yes the study at it required hard work, but it is worth it because it is rewarding. You will gain valuable knowledge in your field, acquire transferable skills and the strength of the UK qualification will open doors for you. read full review
