The end of 2017 is getting closer and it makes us think of all the hard work accomplished by the members of UQ Fire; within this past year, fire research at The University of Queensland has reached a range of areas.

To celebrate the hard work and welcome the Brisbane’s summer, last Friday we gathered for a very tasty BBQ, gathering most of us in the research group and collaborators. It was a great moment to get together, share good food, and more than one laugh!

We look forward to all the challenges and opportunities that 2018 will bring.
