The 10th International Conference on Structure in Fire was held in Belfast, UK between 6-8 June. The Fire Safety Engineering Research Group at The University of Queensland (UQ Fire) was represented by Aaron Bolaños, Andrea Lucherini, Dr David Lange, and Dr Cristian Maluk.
UQ Fire presented the following papers:
Aaron Bolanos, Jose L. Torero, Cristian Maluk (2018) KEY GOVERNING FACTORS THAT DEFINE THE FIRE PERFORMANCE OF STRUCTURAL INSULATED PANELS USED IN FLOOR SYSTEMS
David Lange, Johan Sjöström, Joachim Schmid, Daniel Brandon (2018) TIMBER AND THE FIRE RESISTANCE FURNACE – A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF THE CONDITIONS IN A FIRE RESISTANCE FURNACE WHEN TESTING COMBUSTIBLE AND NON-COMBUSTIBLE CONSTRUCTION
Joachim Schmid, David Lange, Johan Sjöström, Daniel Brandon, Michael Klippel, Andrea Frangi (2018) THE USE OF FURNACE TESTS TO DESCRIBE REAL FIRES FOR TIMBER STRUCTURES
Cristian Maluk, Todd Clarke, Andrew Ridout (2018) FIBRE REINFORCED SHOTCRETE – PRESENCE OF SYNTHETIC MACRO FIBRES AFTER FIRE
The paper presented by Cristian Maluk, outcome of a collaborative R&D project between The University of Queensland and Elasto Plastic Concrete, was awarded the Best Poster Award at the 10th International on Structure in Fire.
