We would like to congratulate our IMFSE partners at Ghent University, Lund University, the University of Edinburgh, ETH Zürich (Switzerland) and The University of Maryland to have been awarded the David A. Lucht Lamp of Knowledge Award by SFPE.
The David A. Lucht Lamp of Knowledge Award honours an organisation, company, or individual that has contributed substantially to increasing the opportunities for higher education in fire protection engineering. The award is named for David A. Lucht, P.E., FSFPE, in recognition of his 25 years of leadership and dedication to the Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) Center for Firesafety Studies and his tireless efforts on behalf of the fire protection engineering profession.
The International Master of Science in Fire Safety Engineering (IMFSE). The IMFSE programme is jointly offered by three full partner universities: Ghent University (Belgium), Lund University (Sweden) and the University of Edinburgh (UK). IMFSE is made possible thanks to the support of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union and other sponsors. At The University of Queensland, we are very proud to be an associate partner of this joint master degree, a worldwide reference and leading educational programme in Fire Safety Engineering.
