5th Pacific Timber Engineering Conference (PTEC 2019)
When: 10-12 July 2019
Where: Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre South Bank Parklands, Brisbane, Australia
Hosted by the Future Timber Hub, ARC Industrial Transformation Research Hub for Tall Timber Buildings, and in collaboration with The University of Queensland’s School of Civil Engineering.
The three-day conference will provide a practitioner focus with lectures, mini-symposia and parallel sessions that will complement the World Conference on Timber Engineering (WCTE) event to be held in 2020.
Call for abstracts extended to 1 April 2019
Papers relating to all aspects of the following themes are invited:
- Wood products and components
- Computer-based methods
- Timber architecture
- Timber engineering
- Implementations
Only two-page Extended Abstracts are requested, please click here for the abstract template. Full paper submissions are not required. Abstracts should be emailed to the following address by 1 April 2019: ptec2019@civil.uq.edu.au
