UQ Fire research in TED Talks

In yet another highlight of her research carrier, Carmen Gorska presented her research on self-extinguishing timber buildings at the popular and insightful TED Talks. At the TEDxUQ sessions that took place on Saturday 10th of August 2019, Carmen took the main stage to bring such a highly technical and challenging subject to a massive audience.

Recently having finished her work at UQ Fire, Carmen has moved on to a new professional challenge in London. However, her research will continue to be a key input for fire safety in timber buildings.
